Sunday Dinner with the Grandparents

A while back we started having our grandparents and parents over for dinner once a month.  We haven't done it for a couple of months and it was nice to have a night together again.  It has become a special time for us and the kids to be able to spend time with them with no other distractions - we love it!  Thanks so much for a wonderful evening. :)

I decided to post a few other pictures I've taken of the kids for my photography class.  They are SOOC (straight out of the camera) so they aren't perfect but I still like them.  :)

Easter 2012

We had a wonderful Easter this year.  We started it out with coloring eggs with their cousin Conner.  I was told that 6 eggs a piece is definitely not enough and that next year they each need at least double that.

On Easter we went over to Nana Jojo's for Breakfast and then we went to Nana Lulu's for dinner.  Both Ellie and Sam had to go in search for their baskets at Nana Jojo's (just realized I didn't take any pictures :( ) which they found pretty fast.  We also had an egg hunt at Nana Lulu's which the kids where just thrilled with because they were able to do it with Nikki and Conner. 

Easter morning was very nice because it was just the four of us and they were happy that the Easter Bunny had visited.  

The Saturday before Easter our neighbors held an Easter egg hunt for some of the kids in the neighborhood.  Thanks Elisa I'm glad that you always plan stuff!  The kids had a great time and were able to take a good stash of candy home.  

It's Been A Long Time

I've decided that I need to start updating my blog a little more.  It will mostly be for me so I can try printing up a book and see how it works.  I've been taking a photography class lately and the kids have been awesome letting me take their photos (at least more than they normally do).

Sam has had two soccer games so far this season and has been doing great.  He has scored a goal in both games.  I think it's finally sinking in on how to play.  I will admit I kind of miss him flying around the field like an airplane!
